Who Is This For?
The Resilience Handbook: A Mind-Body Fertility Resilience Program is for you if infertility or fertility care has begun to touch every part of your life—your relationships, your work, your connection to your body, and your sense of self.
Whether you are beginning fertility care, navigating treatment, or considering what comes next, this six-week cohort offers space to feel understood and supported. You do not need to feel hopeful every day, have a clear plan, or have experience with yoga or mindfulness to participate.
What Will I Gain From This Experience?
You will build a personal resilience handbook filled with tangible tools you can use during appointments, difficult conversations, waiting periods, and everyday life. Together, we will explore:
-
Mind-body practices to recognize stress responses and practice grounding when emotions feel overwhelming.
-
Communication tools and scripts to ask for support, protect your privacy, and set boundaries without having to explain everything.
-
A framework for self-advocacy to clarify your needs, prepare questions, and consider decisions that reflect your values.
-
Ways to reconnect with your body and identity, making room for grief, compassion, pleasure, and the parts of you beyond fertility.
-
A personal plan for moving forward, alongside connection with others who understand the complexity of this experience.
How Will This Make My Life Better?
The goal is to help you feel more equipped to live your life while navigating uncertainty. That might mean having a grounding practice before an appointment, knowing what to say when someone asks an intrusive question, or giving yourself permission to enjoy something without feeling that you have stopped caring about becoming a parent.
This program cannot remove the uncertainty of fertility care or promise a pregnancy. It offers support for reclaiming a sense of self and agency—so you have more ways to care for yourself, communicate what you need, and make room for meaning and connection along the way.
You deserve support for the life you are living now, even as you hope for what comes next.

FAQs
Is this Therapy?
This is not a therapy group and should not be considered a substitute for individual therapy. While the experiences and results you may have can feel therapeutic, this group is designed for-building and skill development.
Is there a payment plan available?
Payment plans are available upon request. A 50% deposit is required upfront, with the second installment due at least one week prior to the start of the first session. Please contact Dr. Peat for details.
What happens if I miss a session?
We hope you can attend all sessions, but there are no refunds for missed sessions. To gain the full benefit of the program, which builds on itself, attending all sessions is recommended.
What about confidentiality?
A confidentiality agreement will be in place, but not everything shared will be confidential by nature. It is expected that what happens in the group stays in the group. The group is intended for those who are not in an active mental health crisis and do not have pervasive mental health issues, chronic illnesses, or any active suicidal thoughts.
Is there any prior knowledge of yoga needed?
No, all movements are fertility treatment safe; however, participants should have a baseline of physical fitness and wellness before joining. Everyone can choose their level of participation based on their comfort.
